Grocery pickup and delivery services are becoming a thing. Because why walk into a grocery store (or even drive to one) if you don't have to? And Walmart is killing it. This is all you need to know about Walmart Pickup:
Step 1: Download the “Walmart Grocery” app
The Walmart Grocery app makes it easy.
You can use your smartphone to scan the barcodes of any empties you’re tossing to quickly build a grocery list, or just use the search. (You can also heart your favorites to build lists quicker in the future.) Then you pick a pickup time and checkout. When your order's ready, Walmart will text you.
Step 2: Drive to Walmart and Park in a Pickup Spot
Once Walmart texts that your order is ready, drive to Walmart, follow the orange “Pickup“ signs and park in an orange “pickup“ spot. It doesn't matter which one, because they’re tracking you through the app. I know, creepy or convenient? I’ve decided convenient, since you can allow the app to only track your location while using it.
Step 3: Watch As They Load Your Car For You
Once you arrive, a Walmart employee will wheel out your order and put everything in your car for you. Then you drive home. Easy. Finally, grocery shopping can take 10 minutes. And there’s no additional charge to pickup.
