Watch Teenage Bounty Hunters and Warrior Nun on Netflix

Updated: Sep 8, 2020

Teenage Bounty Hunters is even better than it sounds. (See the trailer.) From the title, I couldn’t not try it, just like Warrior Nun, which I also enjoyed (trailer), though not as much as Hunters. Here’s why you should watch both on Netflix:

  1. Girl power: They both involve women kicking ass, which I never get tired of.

  2. Action: Both have action and one has a lot of well-executed special effects (Nun).

  3. Interesting subcultures: They both involve interesting worlds. Warrior Nun is like the Catholic church meets Buffy The Vampire Slayer. (I know, what?) And Hunters is a strange mash-up of attending a super religious school, trying to date, twin power and choosing to bounty hunt for a living (because you’re good with guns and cardio), while posing as an ice cream scooper? (I know. You’ve just got to see it.)

  4. Comedy: Though they’re both funny, Hunters is real funny.

  5. Awesome mentors: They both feature these amazing mentor characters who bring both wisdom and humor. I wouldn’t watch either show without the hilarious Bowser (Kadeem Hardison) father-figure-boss-mentor from Hunters or the blunt, but caring Shotgun Mary (Toya Turner) (Yep, she touts a shotgun) from Nun.

So if you find yourself with some free time, give these a try. Happy binging!
