Revenge of the Bridesmaids is something that’s come up in my Netflix Instant search for a long time that I never took the time to try-out. But I am so glad that I finally gave in to the intriguing cover. It’s pretty awesome.
It’s witty, funny and it has two very strong female characters, Abigail and Parker (Raven-Symoné and JoAnna Garcia Swisher), whose side I am completely on when they decide to sabotage the wedding of Caitlyn (Virginia Williams), a girl who stole their best friend Rachel’s (Chryssie Whitehead) boyfriend and then had the audacity to ask her to be a bridesmaid in her wedding.
So they somehow place themselves as bridesmaids in this wedding and do everything they can to take Caitlyn down, including replacing the white wedding tent with a bounce house and putting the wedding dress through a wood chipper. They even enlist the help of a policeman/groomsman, who just happens to be into Parker, while they strive to reunite Rachel and her true love.
