How are you falling for fall?

By Kelly

Since fall is often the only Texas season that isn’t too hot or cold, I make an effort to savor it. Here’re the fun outside things I’ve found to do:

Flashlight corn maze, pumpkin patch and fireworks at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm.

And this farm in Georgetown has even more to do like a petting zoo, face painting, obstacle courses, pig races, horse trick shows, mutton busting, live music and more. It also has some food trucks rotating, but the quality and quantity vary. The beer and wine truck was great, though!

Delicious down to the edible pumpkin. Glad I tried it.

Corn maze, pumpkin patch and apple cannon at Barton Hill Farms.

This Bastrop farm also had a cozy bier garden (with beer, cider and frozen sangria), yard games, face painting, obstacle courses, multiple food options and live music/shows.

But there’s even more to do outside this fall. Check out our Events page for more.

What about you, readers? How are you putting the “fun” in Fun-tober and the splendor in November?
